Austin Lee Matthews

Austin Lee Matthews is an American voice actor based in Brea, California. Best known for his vocal power, endurance and flexibility, Austin is a naturally gifted actor who is most at home in the booth. Whether he is lending his voice to commercials, video games, or just hanging out with his friends, voice over is always on his mind. Austin was a finalist in the 2011 AX Idol Voice Acting competition, where he performed in front of a large audience at the Nokia Theater in LA Live. Later in 2014, he was the first callback of Bang Zoom Entertainment’s open auditions, and has since lent his voice to several of their projects including Archangel, Atelier Firis, Monster Strike and more. He has also taken several voice acting classes with Bang Zoom Entertainment’s Adventures in Voice Acting, taught by veteran voice actors Tony Oliver and Julie Maddalena. In December 2014, Austin graduated from Cal State University Fullerton with a degree in Radio TV and Film. His primary educational focuses were in sound design and screenplay writing. When Austin is not voice acting, he is generally seen writing music and mixing sound in Pro Tools.

Austin is also the official voice of the Lessons in Joyful Living Radio Network, including its flagship show “Lessons in Joyful Living with Kimberly Rinaldi.” He also writes the music for several of the network’s bumpers, and mixes every spot he records for the network.
