Update: Due to COVID-19, AniFest has been rescheduled to Q4 2020 or Q1 2021. We have notified all ticket purchasers and vendors regarding this change.
Dear Attendees and Participants of AniFest 2020,
We are closely monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19, and we are in direct contact with the City of Los Angeles Public Health, and the City of Torrance for instructions on handling the present situation as a community event.
The health of our guests, staff, and vendors are of utmost concern to us, and we will take any precaution or decisions necessary to maintain the standards expected from our attendees and guests.
This includes:
Informing all attendees of best health practices as presented by the CDC
Providing sanitation stations throughout the event
Ensuring all restrooms are well stocked of supplies
Providing face masks and sanitation wipes (as our stock allows)
But we would like to inform you, our reader, that as of March 10th, 2020, we will be moving forward with AniFest 2020 as planned. However due to the fluidity of the situation, we will immediately inform all attendees via press release and e-mail should the situation change.
We hope for a fantastic Anime Festival this year, and will take whatever steps necessary to host AniFest 2020.
